The 300 Series gloves and mitts are constructed from Z-Flex® Multilayer Aluminized Fabric. Z-Flex® provides superior protection from extreme radiant temperatures, sparks, and molten metal splash. It can withstand radiant temperatures up to 3000°F (1650°C) and reflects up to 95% of radiant heat.
The aluminized surface is not recommended for direct contact with temperatures above 350°F (175°C), however, Z-Flex® hand protection is available in several styles including with a Zetex® or ZetexPlus® palm for additional heat resistance for direct contact with hot objects, an aramid palm for abrasion resistance, or a leather palm for superior grip and dexterity.
